Recommended Dose: Adults, adolescents and children over three (3) years, take two (2) capsules once per day before or during a meal, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner. Refrigeration is recommended, but not necessary after opening. Take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics.

I ordered this Probiotics Synergy for its unique "super strains" that I've never heard of before. I've been taking it for over 3 weeks on a daily basis with no issues or side effects. It says to take 1 or 2 capsules per day, I've been taking 2. I take it with meals and there is no odor and no after taste. The pills are small so they're easy to swallow.I like how it has no unnecessary unhealthy ingredients like artificial flavors colors, preservatives, wheat, soy etc. I've found my digestion is better and more thorough while taking this probiotic...I will spare the TMI details but you get the point. I will continue taking it and update this review if necessary.
I really like how this company is letting you know that this supplement is focusing more on four specific strains, compromising the 30 billion bacteria per capsule statistic. Often 30 billion is a midsize amount whereas 5 or 10 billion would be a starter. Additionally, the 30 billion is usually divided into at least 8 or 10 different strains. This one is giving you more of the four specific strains to focus on IBS and gut health. They are typical strains I've seen elsewhere, but theirs are specifically trademarked strains that have been studied and proven in certain clinical doses (as suggested on the bottle). I am always happy with a Canadian made and manufactured product. They adhered to proper Canadian labeling and always provide more information than is required- which I really like when learning about a product I'm going to ingest. I love that this company's products are designed by a natural health doctor/practitioner; to me, this gives the formulas more of a specific recipe and leading edge focus than what a large and profit focused vitamin company might put together.
I ordered these because I am always testing out different probiotics as part of my ongoing effort to improve my gut health. I've also used several supplements from Synergy before.. so I was excited to see this one become available!First Impressions:- Clean, straightforward packaging- I like seeing that it's made in Canada right away on the bottle- The formula includes 4 probiotic strains.. which is great to see rather than just a high CFU number with little explanation behind itWhat I Like:- 30 billion CFU with 4 different strains- No negative side effects thus far.. and it's been very easy on my stomach- I appreciate the care and heart that seems to go into John Biggs' productsWhat I Don't Like:- Nothing notable so far! Although it's still a little early to comment on the full long term benefits (as it is with all natural health products.. it takes time!)Overall:So far, so good. While I can't yet speak to the full impact after longer use.. I've had a great experience with these probiotics to date. No stomach upset.. easy to take.. and I like the 4 strain formula. Synergy continues to be one of the more trustworthy Canadian supplement brands I've come across.. and this product has been another positive experience :)
Synergy Holistics is a trustworthy company in my eyes. It's a Canadian company who claims they have rigorous testing in house, rather than 3rd party testing. Their products have all been good.There are 4 types of probiotics in here.
This comes as an easy to swallow capsule, so it's really simple to take. I haven't had any negative effects from it, even on an empty stomach. No complaints!
